The many lives of cartons

While household waste can be brought to a recycling center it can also be reused at home by turning it into delightful things, such as jewelry boxes.
What you need: Empty cartons, fabric or wrapping paper, glue, scissors, and pearls or some other ornaments. Cut off the top of the carton and there you have a box. Cut off the top of a little larger carton to use as a lid. Then glue the fabric or wrapping paper onto the box and decorate it. A pretty rock, a pinecone or a pearl can be used as a handle on the lid.
